Recent Missions News
One of the ways we will be ministering to the people of Juarez during our upcoming missions trip is by setting up a shoe “store” in one of the colonias. Although this will involve large crowds of people, we will be ministering “one on one” in our store, as we kneel down and try different shoes on their feet. We will have a time of prayer with each group of four to six people.
Please bring new or gently used shoes and place them in the “Juarez Shoe Box” in the foyer by March 15th.
We would also ask for your prayers. As you donate each pair for shoes, please remember to pray for the one who will receive them. Pray that God would “impact” this person, young or old, and that He would do a might work in their life!!!
Thank you so much for contributing in this way, and may God bless you! I know He will!

“How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news of good things!” Romans 10:15
Many of the Sunday School children participated in this great event to raise funds for Bibles to go to Juarez, Mexico. They read thousands of verses during the week of February 15-21!
The results have not yet been tallied, but next month, we will announce the total number of verses read, and the names of the students who won the sombreros!
So will My word be which goes forth from My mouth; it will not return to Me empty, without accomplishing what I desire, And without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it. Isaiah 55:11

God has brought together a terrific team! The team from Ustick has been joined by the Badgley family, from Calvary Chapel, and Cara Clason, from Caldwell Southern Baptist. We are all very excited to be a part of responding to this invitation from International Family Missions and the Pryor family to minister with our families to the people of Juarez Mexico.
We will fly out on March 22 and return on March 28. The plan is to spend two days ministering at the children’s home where Samuel lives. Samuel is a little boy with celiac disease and our Sunday School Children have been sending him their offering to buy him the special food he needs.
The team also plans to set up the shoe “store” and provide hot meals in the colonias for a couple of days. Thank you for all of the enthusiasm and help collecting hundreds of pairs of shoes for this ministry!
Finally, we plan to visit the rescue home for young girls, ages 11-18. We are preparing for a time of crafts, worship, sharing testimonies, and fellowship.
Please pray for all of the team.
- Pray that God will remove all obstacles to this trip. He has already cleared away so many! Especially pray that each member of the team will stay healthy and that God will provide the needed funds for each person.
- Pray for the people of Juarez. Pray for a lull in the violence while we are there, so that we will not be prevented from crossing the border and ministering each day. Pray that we will have the eyes of God and that the divine appointments He has set up will bear much fruit for the Kingdom!
“And the one on whom seed was sown on the good soil, this is the man who hears the word and understands it; who indeed bears fruit and brings forth, some a hundredfold, some sixty, and some thirty.” Matthew 3:23
The trip to Juarez, Mexico this coming Spring Break (March 22-28) has officially been “uncancelled.”
After hearing the Mark and Candi Pryor share their hearts at the meeting a couple of Sundays ago after church (1/4/09), it was clear that God is moving in Juarez and calling Ustick to form a team. So, here we are, trusting God to form the team he desires. It will not likely be the 40 we originally thought, because right now, we only have the Beaudins and the Mitsons committed to this trip.
If you are interested in going, don’t be discouraged. Candi Pryor emphatically insists that willingness is all that is required. God will take care of the rest. She can testify to the many times God has been faithful in this regard. Right now, we’re leaning toward a primary ministry of feeding hungry people (spiritually and physically), and blessing the orphans of Juarez.
Even if you missed the training on Saturday, but want to know more about the trip and/or join us, please let us know and we can make some arrangement. The Pryors and International Family Missions (IFM) are VERY flexible and willing to help us in any way they can.
This trip is open to the entire church body, ages 6 months to 103. All minors must be accompanied by at least one guardian.
God Bless,
The Missions Committee

From Josh Beaudin … “A little excerpt from my NTM Ministry Website”
There are close to 400 students every year who go through training at New Tribes Bible Institute. Many of these students plan to continue on to NTM’s Missionary Training Center and then to various countries to plant indigenous churches in unreached tribes.

Dear Church Family and Friends,
For the last two years I have been a student and intern at Ecola Bible School in Cannon Beach Oregon. I completed a one year program with a second year internship.
During my student year I learned a lot about God’s grace and really made my faith my own. This last year, my intern year, God has been teaching me more and more how to surrender my life to Him. In this I mean everything, my desires, my emotions, my opinions, my will; He is transforming me into what He wants me to be and changing my desires to those that are of Him.
