Rev. Greg Reider

Pastor Greg has been Senior Pastor at Ustick since April of 1988. Before coming to Ustick Baptist he was the Senior Pastor for eight years at Calvary Baptist Church in North Long Beach, California.

Pastor Greg was born in Pennsylvania and as a child moved to Southern California. There at a weekend church service he gave his life to Christ as his Savior and Lord. From that moment on he felt the Lord calling him to full-time vocational ministry as a pastor.

After graduating from California State University in San Bernardino California with a degree in sociology, Pastor Greg attended Talbot School of Theology in LaMirada California and was awarded a Master of Divinity Degree. During those seminary years he was pastor full-time at Calvary Baptist. After serving in California the Lord called he and his wife Jeanelle and their 3 children to Boise to serve at Ustick.

Through his love of people and his love of the Lord and His Word, Pastor Greg seeks to lead this growing and dynamic congregation in worship, service and witness. Pastor Greg has a personal mission to "befriend people and impart truth to them". From preaching to administration to teaching to discipleship, this is his goal.

Pastor Greg has loved serving at Ustick for over 16 years and sees daily the amazing grace of the Lord at work within the church family.

Pastor of Discipleship
Mike Beaudin

Mike joined the staff on January 1, 2006. Prior to this, Mike was the AWANA Missionary in the Idaho and Oregon areas for the past 11½ years. He worked for the Lord and was employed by G.T.E Phone Company for over 16 years before that in Northern Idaho.

In 1979 at Silver Valley Baptist Church, Mike clearly heard and received the truth of the Gospel of Christ, the gospel of grace! Mike believed on the Lord Jesus Christ and was “saved” and set free from the penalty and punishment of his sin! His life has been changed forever through the influence of his mentor Fred Jones who instilled a love for God’s Word and discipleship into his heart through the Navigator ministries.

Mike and Karen were married in 1980 after they both attended Ecola Bible School. They have been married for over 25 years and praise God for their four “young adult” children, Nicole (recently married to Ben Anderson), Joshua, Rachael and Kelsea who all know, love and serve the Lord Jesus Christ! Family has always been and continues to be their priority!

As Pastor of Discipleship, Mike’s heart and vision is to help motivate, equip, and encourage his brothers and sisters in Christ to grow more in knowing, loving and in serving the Lord Jesus Christ! One-on-One discipleship is very important to Mike and he meets with other men on a regular basis. Some of his other areas of responsibilities are Adult Sunday School Classes, Growth Groups, Ushers, Greeters, and Connection Teams.

Mike’s life verses are Deuteronomy 13:3b,4… “for the LORD your God is testing you to find out if you love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul. You shall follow the LORD your God and fear Him; and you shall keep His commandments, listen to His voice, serve Him and cling to Him.”

Pastor of Youth
Rich Rutledge

Pastor Rich joined the staff on January 1, 2007. Before coming to Ustick, Rich served as Youth Pastor at North Valley Baptist Church, Redding California. Rich and Jeanne were married in 1975 and have three grown children and two granddaughters from their oldest son and daughter-in-law. And all live in the Boise area.

It was at Mount Gilead Christian Camp that Rich came to know Christ as savior at the age of eleven. It was then that he realized his need for forgiveness of sin and that Christ had died for his sins and rose from the grave. It wasn’t until the age of 21 that Rich made Christ Jesus the Lord of his life. It was at this time that he was baptized and began submitting his will to Him. Rich graduated from Shasta Bible College with a Bachelor of Arts in Bible and Theology.

The heart of the Youth Ministry at Ustick is focused on the lives of young people: their salvation, their families, feelings, loves, joys, heartaches and tears.

Director of Christian Education
Marian Smith

Marian joined the staff in 1990 and is the Director of Christian Education for all children through the 5th grade. Marian's responsibilities include coordinating the teachers, volunteers and programs for Sunday School, Children's Church, Awana and Vacation Bible School. Marian has a Master's of Education degree and taught elementary grades for 35 years. Marian is planning on spending more time enjoying her granddaughter and learning to quilt and scrapbook now that she has retired from teaching.

Director of Music Ministry
Jeanelle Reider

Jeanelle joined the staff in 2003 as Director of Music Ministry. Jeanelle and her husband, Greg, have three grown children (Daniel, Jonathan and Amanda) and two daughters-in-law (Molly and Michelle).

Jeanelle was blessed to grow up in a pastor's family, and at the age of 7 she came to know Jesus as her Savior and Lord. Worship music been an important part of her life through the years, from sitting next to her mom on the piano bench and learning how to accompany for church as a junior-higher, to being in a worship group where she met Greg during high school, to receiving further training as a music major at the University of California Riverside, to the past 28 years of church ministry with Greg where she has had an integral part in music and worship.

Her passion is to join with the congregation in worshiping the Lord in spirit and in truth, using the music He has gifted the church with over the centuries and right up to today. Secretary
Teresa Dudley

Teresa became the Church Secretary in 2006 after serving as the Church Treasurer for 4 years. She prepares mailings, manages the church calendar, produces the bulletin and monthly newsletter, and many other tasks too numerous to mention. Teresa has been married to her husband Mike for 18 years and they have 2 wonderful children, Chris and Jennifer.
