As a family or as individuals, please set aside a specific time each day, from Palm Sunday through Easter Sunday, to meditate on the death, burial and resurrection of our Lord, Jesus Christ.
Each day includes a Scripture, song and prayer that focus on the events in the life of Christ during the week up to and including His resurrection.
As we consider His example, may we gain more of a heart to SERVE Him and one another.
Note: All songs are from The Celebration Hymnal. Some copies are available to check out from our church library if you don’t own one.

Sunday, March 28 (Palm Sunday)
- Scripture: Zechariah 9:9; Mark 11:1-10
- Song: Hosanna (#296, verses 1, 2)
- Prayer: Give thanks to Jesus for coming as a humble servant to be our Savior
Monday, March 29
- Scripture: Mark 10:32-45
- Song: May the Mind of Christ, My Savior (#568, verses 1, 4, 6)
- Prayer: Ask God to help you have a heart willing to serve as Jesus did.
Tuesday, March 30
- Scripture: Psalm 41:9; Matthew 26:14-16; I Peter 1:18-22
- Song: When I Survey the Wondrous Cross (#321, verses 1, 2, 4)
- Prayer: Confess anything in your life that you may be serving above Christ, who gave His precious blood for you.
Wednesday, March 31
- Scripture: Isaiah 53:1-12; I Peter 2:21-25
- Song: There Is a Redeemer (#308, verses 1, 2, 3)
- Prayer: Ask the Holy Spirit to help you in any situation or relationship where you are finding it difficult to have a servant’s heart.
Thursday, April 1 (Maundy Thursday)
- Scripture: Luke 22:14-20; John 13:3-15
- Song: Jesus Paid It All (#305, verses 1, 2)
- Prayer: Take a moment to serve the people in your life who need extra encouragement by praying for them right now.
Friday, April 2 (Good Friday)
- Scripture: Mark 15:1-39; Romans 12:1
- Song: My Savior’s Love (How Marvelous) (#348, verses 1, 4, 5)
- Prayer: Meditate on Christ’s sacrifice of service, and thank Him with all your heart.
Saturday, April 3
- Scripture: Mark 15:42-47; Philippians 2:5-8
- Song: Because He Lives (#358, verses 1, 3)
- Prayer: Ask Jesus to give you the courage to serve Him and others even when life is hard and it’s difficult to see His plan.
Sunday, April 4 (Easter!)
- Scripture: John 20:1-18; I Peter 1:8-9
- Song: He Lives (#368, verses 1, 3)
- Prayer: Praise God that we serve a risen Savior!
